💞BODY IMAGE💞

I struggle with my perception of how my body looks so I have decided that anytime I feel disappointed by what I see I'll take a photo of flexed/sucked-in and natural. I did this yesterday and was surprised to find a side-by-side comparison of photos didn't seem as bad as what I saw in the mirror. 
I'm sharing the comparison because I'm hoping it will help me become more okay with my body in any state and will show people how the body can appear differently seconds apart. 
I have work to do both mentally and physically but I'm glad I am able to share this journey and possibly help someone else who can relate.

🛒COSTCO HAUL🛒

Restocked on ground beef, salmon, veggie burgers, and coffee today so we didn't stay in budget but a good amount of the items had more discounts than usual😁

Also picked up some @rxbar oats for hubby to try. May not seem like a lot because we have produce and other items leftover from last week's trip and we are expecting an @everyplate box on Tuesday that we are excited to try🥗

Tried a new hiking area today and did 4 miles in under 2 hours. Started off the weekend on a great note🏞️ How will you spend your Saturday?

Going into the weekend with fitness and mental health as a priority🙂

Plan to go hiking tomorrow⛰️, do some professional development💻, get ready for the week to reduce stress📔, spend time with my guys (@jrt_pilot & @rocketdogthespaniel )💕 and get some rest😴

Happy National Love Your Pet Day♥️🐶 15 months ago we brought this little guy home and it has brightened my life 1000%. No matter what kind of day I've had @rocketdogthespaniel can make me feel better just by giving me kisses, dancing with me, singing with me, or just laying by or on me. 🐾

Plus I have the added incentive to not sit on my butt because he needs walks, play time, and he makes a great 36 pound weight for squatting. 🤣

Focusing on my booty gains 🍑

This is the first time I've ever done this exercise and I loved it (can't tell by my facial expression because I was so focused on doing the movements properly)! I felt it in my booty and it was helping me with hip hinges - still have to work on them though!

Was motivated to workout today after a weekend of fun🙃 
Took a 300 League class that whipped my butt. Have some "homework" before the next class; run a mile & do as many hand release push-ups in a minute. We'll see how I do 😁
