When the temp is on 325 F we grill direct or in direct? ( the first 15m)
My Grill Grand-Master Pro Tip is to boil your fresh brats on the stove first with a good Stout beer first until they expand
Then once all of the beer is almost done transfer to a hot grill to finish by browning and the bonus is the sugars from boiling in the beer will caramelize when grilled. Be careful to manage flare-ups because there is fine line between caramelization and burnt.
Prick the casings or no?
I just do indirect cook last 2 to 3 minutes direct to brown. I’m on coal 👌🏽😃
Bon appétit !
Gotta sear , then throw them up on the cooling racks or drop temp after both sides get color ✌
Plus people cook too fast and it actually doesn’t cook the inside properly
I start and end direct, just low and slow baby and they are amazing!
What about charcoal grilling? I don’t have the ability to adjust the heat. How would I go about cooking the brats then?
I have a post where I boiled them in cast iron on my Weber. Then, I smoked them and caramelized onions and gave them a kiss of fire to finish. Was the best Brats I had ever!
If you don't mind I going to like this!😎🖖🏽
