One of the side benefits of traveling to places like Pompeii, it makes you reevaluate what is really important in your life can it can all be gone in an instant. ⁣
⁣
You can rise up from anything. You can completely recreate yourself. Nothing is permanent. You're not stuck. You have choices. You can think new thoughts. You can learn something new. You can create new habits. All that matters is that you decide today and never look back. - averstu.com⁣

Exploring Culross on a #rabbiestours I had never gone behind Culross Palace before to see the garden. This is where they filmed Claire's garden in #outlander. Although it was in Castle Leoch (Doune Castle) in the show, this is the magic they do with film editing. ⁣

“In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.”
– Albert Schweitzer

I am so grateful for the friends who have stuck by me and the new ones I have made during this crazy blip in my life. You guys have been my rock to hold onto in this turbulent river I'm wading in. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Thinking about the past week and what lies ahead on my travel journey. I don't have any regrets from the past year although I would have liked to have been a little smarter. I'm going to continue sharing the world with you through my camera lens and stories in whatever comes my way, good, bad, and everything in between. I love this new life I lead and can't see me ever stopping. Travel is freedom to happiness and health. I truly believe this!⁣

Have you ever found something truly unexpected when you wandered down a side street or alley on your travels? I found this amazing turquoise door in Venice. It looks like it should be in another country instead of Italy. As I take a breather in Wales looking back at my photos in Italy I'm reminded there is beauty and goodness in the world.3 months agoDownload
