Having the best time in Bali so far!
People always ask me if I ever get lonely when I travel solo and the answer is almost never! Was so lucky to meet some amazing friends in Bali and travel together for a few days 🙌🏻20 days agoDownload
First waterfall in Bali! 😍🌊 I usually try to post my pictures in order of when they happened, but I literally forget about my Instagram sometimes because I’m having too much fun! So skipping ahead over Thailand to Bali, will be posting a little out of order 🤷🏼‍♀️25 days agoDownload
The colorful steps leading to the Batu Cave in Malaysia!
This place has been all over my Instagram feed lately and I was really excited to see it! But I have to say I was kind of disappointed... although there are barely any people in my picture - got there early and sprinted to the top- this place was CROWDED with tourists! Also, watch out for the monkeys there, they are evil! I was so worried about my camera 😂 I saw one jump and hang onto a girl who wasn’t even doing anything to it and had her back to the monkey.
This is obviously a very scared and spiritual place and I was disappointed there wasn’t more information about it while I was there. So here are some facts I read on the place!
The limestone within the cave is around 400 million years old. The history of Batu Caves started in 1891 and is a place of worship for Lord Sri Murugan. Rising almost 100 meters above the ground, the Batu Caves temple complex consists of three main caves and a few smaller ones. The biggest, referred to as Cathedral Cave or Temple Cave, has a 100 m-high ceiling and features ornate Hindu shrines. To reach it, visitors must climb a precipitous flight of 272 stepsa month agoDownload
Perhentian Island 🌴 🌊

So far this has been one of my favorite places in Asia! The water was so clear and gorgeous, I made a little @gopro highlights video.
Just some tips that I learned from my trip: This island is a little bit more expensive than what you’re typically spending in other places in Asia. Which is why I chose to camp instead of staying at a hotel. For reference, rainforest camp (where I stayed on the small island) was 150 ringgit (35usd) for 3 nights when the hotel next door was 300-400 ringgit for one night.
I actually really like camping and can usually fall asleep pretty much anywhere, but damn this camping was ROUGH. It is not pleasant sleeping in a tent when the humiditaaay is out of control. However, if you’re on a tight budget and can suck it up for a few days it’s an option. You’ll spend most of your time at the hotel next door the Perhentian Chomlet.
The full day snorkeling trips are about 50-60 ringette- Rawa beach snorkeling trip is a MUST! I basically spent my entire 4 days there in the water and got such a bad sunburn on my butt I couldn’t sit down 😂 To get around the island you can either walk 30-40 min or take a boat taxi for 20 ringgit per person.a month agoDownload

Found a pretty mural in Melaka, Malaysia 😍
Melaka is a really cool city and definitely worth a stop! It’s pretty small so most people only spend a day or 2 here. I only stayed for one night, wanted to make my bus trip from Singapore to KL shorter and see more of the country 👍🏻a month agoDownload
The Peranakan Houses in Singapore 😍
So interesting to see some older architecture before the innovative designs took over the city!a month agoDownload
Every corner in Singapore has something special 😍

How to find this spot: if you take a grab (their version of Uber) get dropped off at Car Park A at Fort Canning Park. Walk back towards where you turned into the parking lot until you see a big red brick staircase. Follow it to the bottom and you’ll find this at the top of the fort canning tunnel! Apparently if you go later in the day there can be a line to take a picture here 🙁 but I was there early and had the place to myself!2 months agoDownload
